Blog Award

I was pleasantly surprised to have received my first blog award, so I thank you kindly and most sincerely to TBN Ranch, one of my three dedicated readers.

What it is exactly is The Liebster Blog Award, and is intended to recognize worthy, lesser known blogs (with less than 200 followers) and to help expose their work. Liebster is a German word meaning dearest.

I received this award from a fellow blogger that I’ve had the pleasure of reading even before I started actively blogging myself. TBN Ranch has so much to offer for someone who loves ranches, animals, the west in general. And, for when I’m feeling intellectual, poetry. You don’t have to take my word for it, check it out here for yourself —->

As all awards, they are passed on. This is my opportunity to give a few blogs the recognition they deserve, and honor them with the Liebster award too.

I only have two blogs right now that I want to share. I have found them while pursuing things that I love. These two blogs each provide insight  on two of my passions.

#1 This blog is one that I love to look at because it has a great deal of information on my favorite past, passed President: Millard Fillmore.

#2 I don’t know   how many followers this blog has, but it won’t stop me from making note of it. Freedom Year is a cool travel blog by a guy who has decided to put life aside and live his dreams. I admire him for this, but don’t have the guts to do it myself.

If your blog is of mention, simply accept your award, and pass it along by following the rules below.

The rules for the Liebster Award are: 1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you. 2. Reveal your top five picks {with less than 200 readers} and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog. 3. Copy and paste the award on your blog. 4. Hope that the people you’ve sent the award to forward it to their five favorite up-and-coming bloggers and keep it going!
